Phillip attended Indiana University Maurer School of Law - Bloomington, graduating magna cum laude in 2008. Phillip served as a Managing Editor of the Indiana Law Journal, was an Octofinalist in the 2007-08 Sherman Minton Moot Court competition, and was named to Order of the Coif. He also served as summer intern for Judge Cale Bradford of the Marion Superior Court (2006).
