Martin Presents on Hiring and Firing Practices

Attorney Laurie Martin presented “Hiring and Firing – Best Practices and EEO Considerations” to members of the Indiana Healthcare Association on January 10, 2012. The presentation addressed the common causes and costs of employee turnover; federal, state and common law pitfalls to avoid during hiring and termination; and best practices in hiring and firing to manage risk and minimize turnover, including post-employment considerations. Hoover Hull is an Associate Member of the Indiana Healthcare Association, a trade association whose mission is to educate, inform, and advocate on behalf of healthcare providers, consumers, and the workforce.
