Sean T. White
PartnerSean T. White is a partner with Hoover Hull LLP. He concentrates his practice in business litigation, creditors' rights litigation, construction-related litigation and professional liability. Sean is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Indiana, as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Sean has achieved the highest professional rating (AV®*) provided by Martindale Hubbell. He was selected for inclusion in the listing of Indiana Super Lawyers®** for the years 2010-2011.
Professional Experience
- Represents large and small businesses, insurance companies, and individuals in commercial litigation.
- Represents owners, general contractors, sub-contractors, material suppliers and sureties in construction disputes.
- Represents debtors and creditors in bankruptcy litigation, including disputes involving claims of fraudulent transfers, preference payments and professional liability.
- Represents owners and leasing agents in lease disputes, including claims for breach of lease, eviction and enforcement of personal guaranties.
- Defends attorneys and their firms against claims of professional negligence.
Education
Sean earned a B.S. in Marketing from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business (1990) and a J.D., summa cum laude, from the Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis (1997). He served as an Associate Editor of the Indiana Law Review.
Professional Associations, Memberships, and Community Service
Sean is a member of the Indianapolis, Indiana State, Seventh Circuit and American Bar Associations and the Construction Industry Forum and Litigation Section. Sean coaches youth football and basketball at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, and is a member of the Board of the Holy Spirit Catholic School Commission.
